Conad has always placed communities at the center of its actions, promoting a model of society in which people and their needs matter. Intent on listening and giving concrete answers, Conad has marked itself as a company for the community. Conad maintains a commitment to enhancing young talents, evident through its cooperation with Umbria Jazz. This cooperation has spanned the last six years and has given life to a very special project: Conad Jazz Contest.
Conad initially asked Mumble to create the new graphic layout of the Conad Jazz Contest site to make it more attractive to the eyes of a young audience, the event’s target demographic.
In this perspective, we presented Conad’s marketing office with a project that would allow us to bring the experience of listening and voting on bands to another level. With this in mind, we created a web portal and a native iOS and Android app, which included a native player and the possibility of expressing a certain number of votes when choosing the favorite band (including SMS verification to avoid multiple and unverified votes).
Thanks to the mobile application, users can listen and rate bands directly from their smartphones. The application was developed in the native language, caring for the interface in detail, which made it simple and pleasant to use.
The back-end technology and the CMS for content management during the online period, edited by Mumble, were developed through MBurger technology. This allowed for considerable acceleration in the development process, releasing the platform in just a few hours, and maintaining an excellent level of content flexibility to deal with the changes and variations requested during the online period.
