Overview
Customer & Challenge
Pure Energy is a company specialising in end-to-end energy management. It helps businesses monitor and optimise their energy consumption, handling both the bureaucratic and administrative side and the engineering and technical side, as well as energy procurement.
As CEO and founder Roberto Bischeri explains, the real obstacle is not just measuring consumption, but making it understandable to people who are not engineers:
> “The hard part is translating a “technical language” into plain words. A business owner knows how to make shoes, but not why that motor uses 80% more than last year.”
This distance between engineers and business owners is the heart of the problem: too much information, too complex, too far from the language of the people who make decisions. Energy, often treated as a taken-for-granted commodity, remains one of the largest and most underestimated cost items.
To close this gap, Pure Energy chose to build its own proprietary platform: Pure Vision. The initial goal was not to create a product to sell, but a strategic tool, a true “bridge” between the engineering world and the decision-making one.
Pure Energy uses the platform as a distinctive asset to offer a superior service, strengthen client trust and consolidate its position in the market.
Takeaway
A simple dashboard for fast, informed decisions
The heart of Pure Vision is a dashboard designed for business owners, not engineers. It shows the essential indicators of the company’s energy efficiency in real time, like a car’s dashboard: a few key parameters, readable at a glance, to understand whether everything is running smoothly or there is waste or anomalies.
Energy KPIs tied to actual production (EnPI)
Unlike tools that only show absolute consumption, Pure Vision translates energy into production-based indicators, such as the kWh consumed for each unit produced. This gives the data operational meaning: it becomes a useful benchmark to compare, analyse and improve.
Dynamic, customisable cost forecasts
Through integration with market data (futures), Pure Vision projects future energy costs based on expected consumption. Scenarios can be customised with assumptions on production growth or tax changes, producing realistic simulations for business plans, budgets or management control.
A visual dashboard with configurable thresholds
Each KPI can be given configurable minimum and maximum thresholds: if a value leaves the acceptable range, the dashboard flags it visually (for example in red), just like a warning light. It is a concrete way to anticipate problems and act quickly, even without advanced technical skills.
